About JBH Groundwork

James Hodgson, founder of JBH Groundwork, has a long career in construction working with some of the UK's most well known construction companies. With a background in civil engineering, James is also a Chartered Quantity Surveyor which brings a unique breadth of experience to JBH Groundwork. Drawing on more than 20 years of experience, the business was created with a set of core values in mind, where professionalism, integrity and exceptional quality are at the heart of each project.

JBH Groundwork delivers a range of essential groundwork services to domestic, commercial, and development sites across London and the South East. These services are offered on a standalone basis to enable contributions from other contractors, or as an end-to-end groundwork solution that covers site enabling, site levelling, excavation, laying foundations, installing drainage systems and retaining walls.

As a responsible groundwork contractor, JBH Groundwork is fully experienced and accredited, and is a proud advocate of value engineering. The company is always environmentally conscious and all refuse and material recovered as part of our services are transferred to licensed waste stations in the local area, where they will be processed and recycled for future use.
